Oil hydraulics and pneumatics
The oil hydraulics and pneumatics (=fluid technology) division regards itself as the interest group for Switzerland's manufacturers in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry.
Fluid technology is a key sector. Without fluid technology, it is generally impossible to implement functions such as movement in minimum space, regulation, control and automation. The increasing integration of microelectronics has made it possible to link fluid technology components together to create complex systems. This allows the sector to offer total solutions on a customer-specific basis - one of the Swiss suppliers' numerous strengths. Including indirect exports, approximately 80% of the manufacturers' sales are made abroad. The Swiss hydraulic and pneumatic industry leads the field in technology.
The division is affiliated to the European Fluid Power Committee (CETOP).
