Swissmem will advise you in questions related to energy and the environment and pass on information about the protection of the environment within the company and current special themes to members. We shall prepare environmental and energy data relevant to the decision for you and work out sector solutions for the targeted implementation of legislation concerning energy and the environment.
Service for you
- Those responsible for the protection of the environment in Company Members receive practice-oriented information, for example about dealing with environment management systems and conformity with environmental law, in Swissmem courses and seminars.
- Swissmem coordinates a platform for environmentally conscious product design and environment management for Company Members.
- We are committed to price advantages in favour of Company Members that are disadvantaged as small or medium-sized enterprises, in the process of opening the market, in the case of electricity.
- Swissmem is a founding member of the energy agency of commerce and industry (EnAW) and supports Members in the implementation of the legislation concerning energy and CO2.
- The environment and energy commission defines the principles of strategic environmental behaviour in its environmental strategy, in the interest of the sector.
- Swissmem supports the efficient handling of natural resources with a consciousness of responsibility and will coordinate special sector solutions, if necessary.
