- We offer you modern training concepts and a range of over 1800 articles concerning professional training through the Swissmem Professional Training Institute [Institution Swissmem Berufsbildung]. Members of Swissmem enjoy price reductions from 20 to 50 per cent in this case.
- We make the sources of information for the process of choosing a profession available to you and support the recruiting of apprentices by means of promotion measures.
- Over 4,000 managers and trainers use the courses and seminars of the Swissmem Cadre School annually. Members of Swissmem receive a discount of between 25 and 30 per cent of the course fees.
- Swissmem manages the sfb, the Swiss training centre for technology and management, together with its social partners. A wide range of specialist courses is available to you.
- Swissmem supports contemporary professional training through the Apprentice Commission and it is participating actively in the definition and redesign of new professional apprenticeships, in the interests of the Members.
- The Commission for Questions concerning Training actively follows sectors relevant to the engineering, electrical and metal industry and supports the implementation of jointly established aims.
- Swissmem is represented in important Committees of the Confederation and maintains regular contact with Confederate technical universities and the specialist universities.
