Dear members of the Photonics Industry Sector
We are pleased to invite you to this year’s Photonics Autumn General Assembly on October 20, 2026, hosted by Optotune.
Optotune is a leading Swiss photonics company developing and manufacturing innovative optical components and systems based on tunable optics. Its technologies include electrically tunable lenses, laser speckle reduction, beam steering solutions and complete optical systems, enabling faster, more compact and more flexible optical solutions for applications ranging from machine vision and microscopy to laser processing and projection.
During our visit, Optotune CEO Manuel Aschwanden will introduce us to the company, its technologies and its journey from a Swiss start-up to an internationally active photonics company. We will also have the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into Optotune’s technology and operations during a company tour.
Following the company visit, we will hold our General Assembly and provide an update on current activities and upcoming initiatives of the Photonics Industry Sector.
The event will conclude with an apéro – an excellent opportunity for networking and informal exchange among colleagues and peers.

Due to limited amount of parking spaces we recommend to take public transportation. There are only very limited parking spaces in the area.
Arrival by public transports
You can take from train station Dietikon the S17 in direction Wohlen AG. Get off at «Reppischhof» and walk for about 6 minutes.
