Dear members of the Photonics Industry Sector
Swissmem is the association of Switzerland’s technology industry, representing companies in mechanical and electrical engineering and related sectors. We support our members with services, training, and dialogue, and work to ensure good conditions for the industry.
This Autumn General Assembly is an opportunity to come together, share perspectives, and discuss the way forward.
This year’s program at the Photonics Autumn General Assembly on 21 October 2025 will feature, among others, Prof. Dr. Roland Siegwart from ETH Zürich, who will speak about Photonics for Drones, and Jean-Philippe Kohl from Swissmem, who will address the topic US Tariffs: Mounting Pressure on the Swiss Tech Industry.
The event will conclude with an Apéro – an excellent opportunity for networking and informal exchange among colleagues and peers.
A warm invitation to all our members, we look forward to your participation. We would also be delighted to welcome several people from your company.
Kind regards
Christian Thöny, President Industry Sector Photonics
Brigitte Waernier-Gut, Division Manager Industry Sector Photonics
