Mission Statement
The Swiss Chip Alliance (SCA) is operated by the Swissmem Industry Sector SEMI and unites centers of excellence that operate clean rooms and processing equipment used in the semiconductor and photonics industry.
These centers target at supporting industry and research to jointly develop advanced technologies and products in micro-technologies such as semiconductors, photonic products, electronics, sensors, communication technologies, etc.
The Swiss Chip Alliance serves as a coordination platform between its members, represents and communicates joint needs and positions towards politics and society and supports linking and networking with the semiconductor, photonics and microtechnology industry. By regular meetings, its members inform each other on relevant developments, projects and investments, and identify topics of joint interest.
