Until 8 June, the courses run by Swissmem’s specialist areas and Swissmem Academy will take place as planned. However, the participants will not be on site, but online. Suitable tools such as Zoom will be used.
Courses will only be postponed or cancelled in exceptional circumstances.
From 8 June onwards, a majority of courses will take place in the classroom again. Swissmem Academy has drawn up and implemented a safety policy for its Winterthur training centre. This policy complies with Swiss Federation for Adult Education (SFAE) requirements.
Since online courses are a useful methodological adjunct to classroom teaching and we will still be systematically applying the blended learning approach, we will continue to provide certain courses partly or entirely online.
