The Swissmem training centre

Practice-based training programmes and modern, web-based learning methods are the hallmarks of the Swissmem Academy. It provides courses, seminars and in-house training sessions teaching skills to technical and management personnel from industry. Special conditions are available for employees of Swissmem member companies.

All Swissmem Academy training programmes are strongly practical in nature, giving course participants exactly the skills they need to successfully perform a technical or management role.

In addition, the Swissmem Academy focuses on modern, web-based learning methods in order to minimize, and provide a meaningful complement to, face-to-face teaching. These include virtual meetings, coaching sessions and digital data exchange.

Varied programme

The Swissmem Academy programme includes courses, seminars and in-house training sessions:

  • Courses teach skills required to successfully perform a technical or management role and in some cases prepare participants for federal examinations.
  • Seminars offer targeted advanced training opportunities in a more concise form, with a focus on topics relating to management, leadership, project management, innovation, marketing and managing employees.
  • In the case of in-house training sessions, content is individually tailored to the needs of teams or specific groups within a company.

Swissmem Academy programmes are generally open to all. Special conditions are available for employees of Swissmem member companies.
