The Swiss Chip Alliance (SCA) serves as the central information and collaboration platform for public or public-private cleanroom operators across Switzerland. It is hosted by the Swissmem Semiconductor Industry Sector and brings together the operators and users of these facilities.
Alliance members include the Center of MicroNanoTechnology (CMi) at EPFL, CSEM in Neuchâtel, the Park Innovaare Cleanroom for Optics and Innovation (PICO) at PSI, the Sensor Innovation Hub (SIH) at FH Ost and the planned Chip FabLab in Dübendorf. Together, they provide a broad spectrum of expertise and access to technologies spanning the semiconductor value chain. Their collective mission is to foster innovation and enable impactful collaborations within the Swiss semiconductor community.
The SCA Networking Event at the EPFL in Lausanne offers participants an opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the SCA, its members, and their respective areas of expertise. Attendees from both industry and academia will be introduced to the specific capabilities and collaboration opportunities inside the SCA. Additionally, the event will include a follow-up session to the April 17th information event, providing updates on the development of the Chip FabLab.
The Swissmem Semiconductor Industry Sector warmly invites all stakeholders in the semiconductor ecosystem to join this informative and engaging networking event.
We look forward to welcoming you on September 18th at the EPFL in Lausanne!
Cemal Aydogan, President of the Industry Sector Semiconductors
Dr. Adriaan Spierings, Secretary General Swissmem
