The established platform for innovation in the Swiss tech industry is entering the eleventh round:
The R&D Conference 2026 provides a compact overview of current research and development activities at Swiss universities, research institutions and start-ups. The focus will be on practical innovations in production and manufacturing technology – from efficiency gains and new manufacturing approaches through digitalization, automation and the use of artificial intelligence to smart production systems, new materials and forward-looking processes

Contents

For the eleventh time, we will offer participants a compact overview of current and planned projects – thanks to the tried-and-tested format with short 5-minute pitches. The focus will be on activities in the field of digitalization, innovation and technology. 
 

In addition, the poster exhibition will enable a direct dialogue with the speakers and will provide valuable networking possibilities.

For registrations received less than two weeks before the event there will be no reimbursement, however, a suitable substitute may be sent in consultation with the Swissmem headquarters/NEXT Industries.
